Libby Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the launch of the first-ever Circle Swede Gravel Ride, in partnership with the LOR Foundation. Scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025, this community-focused cycling event aims to support local initiatives and bring together outdoor enthusiasts for a day of adventure and philanthropy.
The Circle Swede Gravel Ride offers participants two route options: a 35-mile loop and a more challenging 62-mile loop, both showcasing the scenic beauty surrounding Libby, Montana. The ride will commence and conclude at J. Neils Memorial Park, incorporating the historic old haul bridge into the course.
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Libby Parks & Recreation's efforts to enhance community spaces and programs. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will support Kootenai Pets for Life, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing humane shelter for stray and abandoned pets in the Libby/Troy area.
Participants can look forward to a comprehensive race experience, including a commemorative t-shirt, engraved mug, nutrition drop bag, live music, ride timing with podiums, scenic routes, food trucks, aid stations, and camping options.
